Our mission is to create a paradise and unforgettable holiday for you and your family by providing affordable luxury accommodation on the Dolphin Coast.

Elsbeth Terblanche, the company’s owner, has always dreamed of having a business in the hospitality industry. After identifying a gap in the market, she was inspired to create a business with a difference. One that went beyond merely arranging holiday lets.

This is how Utopia Ballito came into existence in 2016.

(“Utopia Ballito” was the original name under which we did business in our area from 2016–2022 until we decided to pursue a franchising venture and rebrand the company as Utopia Memorable Luxury Holidays).

Even though the company started extremely small (with a single bachelor’s flat in Elsbeth’s backyard), it has grown to dozens of apartments across our multiple franchises.

Our small but mighty team, with over 30 years of combined experience in assisting holidaymakers, is dedicated to ensuring a VIP experience — from booking your holiday until you go home.

All of the cleaning ladies have extensive experience in the hospitality industry within the Ballito area. Each lady takes care of just a few units allowing them to really get to know their guests and provide a high level of service at all times.

Elsbeth is a very hands-on owner who ensures all clients have a wonderful vacation on the Dolphin Coast.

INTRODUCTION

Introducing, the owner of Utopia Memorable Luxury Holidays,  Elsbeth Terblanche.

It has always been a dream of mine to have my own business in the hospitality/tourism industry. Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would be in such a beautiful little utopia such as Ballito. 

My aim is to provide quality service to both the holiday maker as well as the homeowner. I am more than simply a booking agent, I see myself as a co-host and this is what sets me apart from other agents. My role is to ensure that each of our guests are attended to and has everything they need for the duration of their stay. Seeing our guests unwind and make memories that will last a lifetime is what fuels my passion for hospitality.

It all began in 2016 when I was inspired to start a business with a difference, one that went beyond merely arranging holiday lets. Starting with our studio apartment, after which we added a family unit in a prime spot to our portfolio. We now have a number of units under our care and we are currently expanding our portfolio.
